The "Atlanta" Tornado
This is a picture of the tornado that hit Atlanta last weekend taken by Shane Durrance. I have never seen anything like this. I got some rain and a little hail from the storm.
Have any of you experienced a tornado? If so, what was it like?
I remember when I go married, we were in Miami in 1997, we were going on a cruise, the city of Miami had been hit by a tornado. I didnt go into the city to see the devastation. It was amazing that it only killed one person--so far.
Yes, you missed spring break. It was a couple of weeks ago.
I have never been in a Tornado before, and I wasn't really in this one. However, I work at the World Of Coca-Cola which is literally in walking distance of where the Tornado hit. It's amazing how Mother Nature works. There was no damage done to the World of Coke, but a couple of feet away Centennial Park had been hammered by this storm. I would never expect a Tornado to hit the city, it just confirms that anything can happen.
I never seen a tornado either, but I know how devastating they can be. That picture you posted looks so real and scary. When incidents like this happen , people can only wonder their safety on earth. We are not safe anywhere. We just need to enjoy life day by day, so wh don't regret anything we did not do.
I never really listen when they say we have a tornado warning on the news. We were at O'Charley's and they made us get under tables. The wind was blowing really hard. That was the closest I had ever come to a tornado.
okay no offense but the tornado didnt look THAT dramatic i think they played around too much with the colors on photoshop.....it was bad but it didnt look like dat
