how often does something make you think

I just got back from Tn to help with tornado effort, and i just couldn't imagine the pain of lossing it all form something that came from nowhere. Its almost like you wouldn't have a chance to stop change even if you came up with ultimate defense. At the end of my stay there I couldnt help but to revisted my own safegruads and figure out what truly could i protect.

I totally agree with you. I have to admit that I take things for granted like shelter, food, clothing. I watched a documentory about the Katrina survivors and how those people lost their homes, family members, everything. Like you, I felt so bad and realized how good I got it. If their was a storm coming I would want to take everything with sentimental value.

I lived in TX and AR (my sons still live in Little Rock). I hated living in tornado alley.

Good for you going to help! My brother-in-law is a Red Cross volunteer. He gets out of bed in the middle of the night to help folks whose house burned down. He's able to give them a credit card for food, shelter, and clothing. It's only enough for a few days, but it's something.
