Toll of Freshman
I wanted to know how everyone felt about this year? It has been hard for me to learn to keep up with everything, I have five classes going on right now and it is weird, I was in my second year at AXIA college however it seems that nothing I did there could help me get ready for this. There seems to be a lot more work involved in going to G.P.

Hi Chris, I feel your pain. I only have one class and can hardly keep up. I couldn't imagine having five classes. Good luck.
You know, in the 5 years since I've been out of high school, I've went to fire collage, EMT school, Paramedic school, constantly going to GPSTC to take classes to keep up certifications. So to be honest this isn't that hard for me. Right now I'm taking 4 online classes through perimeter, and I just started through Excelsior a Paramedic to RN bridge course. Its a study at home and challenge the RN tests yourself deal. But I have yet to feel like its too much. Maybe I'm just used to being under pressure.
Wow aewing, you definitely have a lot going on yourself. It just seems like a lot to me because I'm also raising a daughter as a single parent in addition to the online schooling.
Time management is a must. I expect that you are doing at least 3 to 5 hours of work a week. That's not daydreaming time. This is a 3 hour credit course. And we are expected to add homework as well.
I have a friend who teaches an online course at the school you mention, and Instructors are given a script and assignments to use. So in a sense, anyone who can read can teach the course.
