Horoscopes & Fortune Cookies

I have never been one to believe in superstitions and myths. There is one question that always get me thinking though. When I read the paper, I come across the horoscope page and read mine just for fun. Somehow, there is always some truth in what it says that pertains to my life. The same thing is true with fortune cookies. They always are relevant to something going on. I think its because they give pretty broad predictions/statements about life in general that can apply to many situations. Does anyone have a creepy experience with any of this?

I used to have the same experience. Even though the predictions always seemed to be true for me, I stopped reading them. It's too much like a fortune teller for me.

Sometimes there is some truth in both fortune cookies and horoscopes. But I know some people who try to live their lives from them and all the people I know who do this have had nothing but disaster. So it is cool to read them every once in awhile but I wouldn't advise putting to much trust in them.

There have been times where I have read a horoscope or furtune cookie and their predictions have come to pass, but I think that coincidence plays a big part in them. I agree with Anne that the predictions are broad so that the they cover many situations.
