And while Elizabeth I is one of my favorite historical figures, I am much more intrigued in her mother, Anne Boleyn. Besides, there just never seem to be enough Anne Boleyn movies (somehow I don't think "Anne of the Thousand Days" made it to the big screen) and even less of her sister, Mary.
Thus, that they've decided to make a movie out of this book is a blessing. Going on, there don't seem to be many Henry VIII-centric movies in existence (there is a TV series called "The Tudors" though...).
Anyhow, I'll be sure to post a review after watching this movie

Marisabel,
This is the most compelling of all family stories.
Poor Anne of a 1,000 days. . . .
Marisabel you are very unique. The topics you choose to blog on are really interesting. I have seen movies of Elizabeth I but I have not heard of Anne Boleyn.
I know of at least one Boleyn movie (Anne of the Thousand Days)but to my knowledge it never showed in theaters. If it had shown in theaters there would have been some chance of me knowing about it! XD
