Bottled Water Vs. Tap Water

Read the article found on the website below and let me know what you think.
Thinking it was much healthier and of course out of convenience I would drink bottled water. Now I'll rethink twice about drinking bottled water! What do you usually drink?

hmmm...that's interesting. Every once and awhile, i'll buy a 24 pack of kroger bottled water just to have the bottles. i just keep refilling them with tap water. I usually use them for about a month or 2 and then get another case because when you wash them in the dishwasher, they shrink. thats weird that the regulations aren't as strict for water-something that everyone needs!

I'm a Brita kind of girl. I know that the filters are kind of expensive, but it is still much cheaper than buying bottled water. Don't get me wrong I will buy the bottles while I'm out and about, but it's not what I use when I'm at home. Interesting story, but I assumed this was common knowledge by now. My mother lives in Ellijay and the city has a natural spring that you can bring jugs or whatever you have, to fill for free. If you want real spring water, there are plenty of places to get it for free! :) Good article, thanks!

That is very interesting. I drink bottled water often. I considered buying a filter last year, but I didn't. I think that's my next move, buy a water filter!

I am a habitual bottled water drinker. I really like the spring waters the best. The article shed light on a subject I was unaware of completely! I'll definitely check into the different water companies before putting anymore money into it. That's pretty cool, victoria r, about being able to fill water jugs for free from the spring. I never knew any of that was available.

I think this it's really interesting how consumers can be convinced by a pretty label, that the water taste purer than it really is. I've drunk my fair share of bottled water and believe me it really all in the mind. I have recently invested in a water purifier and until i find out that's a scam as well, i think it's the best way to go.

The water I drink does not have to come from a bottle, but it will not come from the faucet or any other non-filtered source!

I drink bottle water sometimes but I have thought about buying a filter, but I think that can be kind of expensive.

I always keep a case of water in my car. My in class students can tell you that I usually have some with me.

Of course, I do like coffee, too!

With the flu going around, I don't want to use the water fountain, and
I'm not a gourmet water drinker, so I usually go for price--not France spring water.

Of course I do feel bad about the problem of disposing the
plastic. . . . But that's another issue for another day.

I like bottled water, I have always preffered it over tap water, I think its just mental, but it seems like it just tastes better. But it did bum me out a couple of months ago when a report came out stating that much of the bottled water is really just tap water and packaged nicely.

It's interesting how we'll pay extra for water that we can get virtually free, but people die daily from lack of water in other countries.

I only drink the purified, bottled water, and I only use tap water for cooking because the heat, supoosedly, boils out the impurities.
