God's Plan

I've always wondered ...

You know how they say God has everyone life planned out? I always wondered about abortions ... when a female has an abortion does that mess up God's plans that he had for her? What do you all think?

I do believe God has a plan for our lives but we sometimes take our lives into our own hands. I know that God is not the author of abortion because he gives life. I think that, even though someone has an abortion, it only delays Gods plan. Eventually, if you are obedient to God, his plan will be fulfilled in your life.

You know, I have wondered the same thing because someone close to me is in a situation where her teenage daughter is pregnant and they are not stable (financially or emotionally)enough to handle a baby right now. My friend wants her daughter to abort the child and buy herself a second chance. The only thing I can offer are kind words, motivation and prayer.

I cannot begin to answer your question on fate because I believe everything and everyone has a purpose and only God can reveal that purpose to you.

I think God knows whether that baby will be aborted or not. It is a choice by the parents but God is omnipotent and knows all and therefore will know what is going to happen even if it a decision made by parents.

I believe GOD knows what would happen but it's up to the person to make the right decision. It's like a parent teaching his child what is good and was not, but it is up to the child to make it's own decision.

I agree with pmoten we do sometimes take our own life into our hands. I do have to wonder is it in God's plan to put those test in our way just to see how we handle it. I do believe that God's gives use no more than we should be able to handle he already know what we will do before we even do it. There are two type of people in the world those that get caught and those that get away with everything.Aboration is those thing that people think they get away with when they really don't it has a funny way of coming back around to face us.

How do you know if abortions was not part of God's plan? Maybe, thats a part of population control? Everything happens for a reason, right?

A- If god is all knowing then it saw the abortion coming and was a part of the plan.

B- If god is all powerful than it will be able to work with minor inconveinances.

C- If god is just another name for impersonal forces in our universe than it doesn't care.

I'm betting on "C"

No,I don't think that it messes up he plan. If God has a plan for you then he knows that you were going to have an abortion.

I think that God does have a plan and that again we do tend to not rely on him and we make decisins without conferring with him. I think abortion is wrong and not created to control population. Population control is knowing that if you are mature enough to have sex then you should deal with what happens when you have sex.....whats the point of having it...to repopulate....so its not about population control its about self control.....if people had more of it we wouldnt have half as many problems in the world as we do now...

believe God's plan for each and every one of us depends on the decisions we make. As humans,we are bound to make mistakes. I feel when we acknowledge our mistakes and take steps towards correcting them, our lives will move according to the plan God has laid out for us. We all fall down every now and then, but it's the getting up that counts.

Yeah, I'm confused on that part. I don't believe in abortions, unless there's a good reason for it. I'm glad I never did get an abortion back in February '07 once I found out I was pregnant because my baby makes me the happiest person earth. Especially when I'm sad, her smiling is all I need to make me happy again!
