Birthday's are all the same

Today I celebrate my birthday. For some strange reason i'm really not that excited about it. When i was younger it was like the biggest thing in the world to me, but now it's like another day! I wonder do many others feel lkie that

If nothing else, you should cherish every birthday. Think of all those who did not live to see your age! Isn't that enough reason for excitement?

comedian Patton Oswalt says there are only a few birthdays that should be celebrated and the rest don't really matter.

I'd say that birthdays between 5-10get celebrated, then 18, 21, 30, 40, 50...

they rest I think should be uncommemorated.

I'll say your just growing too old!
Birthdays are to be enjoyed each and every single year, because, like pmoten said, many don't live to your age

I think that everyone should celebrate every single birthday! I encourage my mother to do something for her birthday every year. I love when my birthday comes around! This year I am celebrating my 20th! I am so excited even though it isnt until October. LOL!

I feel the same as well. I remember when I was a kid, no other day really compared to my birthay. I lived for MY birthday nothing else really mattered. Now for some reason, I don't get that special feeling of excitement anymore. Everyday is truly a special because no day is promised to us. I am a true believer in that, but still.

I kind of feel the same way about my birthday. It doesn't seem to be as special as it was when I was younger. I think it's because everyone is just always so busy with work and school that we dont take the time to actually celebrate all that you have done.

I understand. There are only some birthdays you get excited about. I just turned 18 and i was SOOO happy. Last year when i turned 17 it was just another day.
