I was thinking while sitting in class today, how much we complaint about our lives. We always think that we can better off by doing this or that, but we never think of what we have over here in America. We all have a great chance to become who we want to become, it's just on how much effort we put into it. While we have a great life over here, countries like Haiti suffer each day. 80% of the rural Haitian live in poverty and that is sad to hear. We need to start thanking God for the chance he's giving us to live a good life where at least we can eat each day. I want you guys to read this article and analize what we all have compare to this poor people.

I agree with you whole heartedly. We have access to a world of resources to use at our convenience. I learned a long time ago to thank God for each moment and for all He has allowed me to experience.
Wherever you are and whatever situation you find yourself in, you should be thankful because there is always someone out there who has is worse off than you. You presented a nice example using poverty in Haiti to demonstrate this. I think it is the responsibility those who have it better off in life to help the less fortunate. What do you think?
