For-profit schools are professional Thieves!

When I decided to return back to school I wanted to pursue a career in audio production as a studio engineer. The Atlanta Art Institute offered this program and so I sought to pursue this degree. Looking at the expenses and the amount of money to fund my education I backed out and look at a other schools and GPC was very economical for me. My question is, do you think for-profit schools are the best choice to pursue especially if they are not public institutions like GPC?

I don't think the for profit schools are better. Looking at the costs, it appears they are in it to make money, the school system is more concerned about the student and makes it affordable for most.

I almost applied to the same department at the art institute of atlanta... after a meeting and tour I realized the price and class comparison wasnt the most balanced. I turned it down, obviously.

Yeah I think education should be free where the student is only responsible for the items which he or she uses. I believe that GPC has the right idea for education because its fun and also affordable.

I have a friend of mine who is going to A.I. for the same degree. She said the same thing now, they are only in it for the money. It can be difficult in choosing to go to schools.
