Life back in school

Wow,
I am actually back in school, can you imagine? I am thirty-seven years old, I hold two degrees, one associates and one bachelors degree, and here I am!! I think learning is the best feeling a person can have, do you? I love the thought of learning something new as well as conquering a difficult subject, how do you feel after you conquer something difficult?

Hi Damon, I can tell from your writing you really enjoy learning. I never went to college after high school, so I decided to take the challenge in my late forties. It was hard in the beginning trying to develop study habits. I enjoy it now myself and good luck.

Hi Damon,
Can you imagine when you have three years of college and nothing transfers? This is the case with me unfortunately. I am basically starting all over again at the age of 37, except now I have a full time job, husband and daughter.
I do enjoy the challenge and finally I am using my brains cells again, it feels great!!!!!

wow, multiple degres and coming back for more!

I'm glad you've found a source of joy and are pursuing it =)

I hope I have the same attitude about learning after I finish my first bachelors degree.

My Mom told me years ago, "You are never to old to learn something new!" I will take that advice to my grave! I have an Associates degree from ITT in Electronics and a Bachelors of Science in Business Info. Systems from Indiana Wesleyan Univ. Not ONE credit will transfer over to Georgia Tech, so they gave me the pre-req. requirements. Here I am, taking another composition course. I will probably be done seeking degrees after this Architecture degree, if I get accepted to GT. Anyone that holds a degree and seeks another degree later in life already has an advantage. Its compararble to riding a bike, it's a little easier after you've learn the basics!!!
