Tiger on the High Road

In spite of the news media and others, Tiger Woods has again treated alleged racism as he does. He was above it. The man who responded ,"human", when asked what race he was, defended his friend saying, "We've all said things we regret". This is typical of Tiger when pressed to take a stance he always has a non-inflamatory comment.

Is this the product of his corporation making sure he is forever media ready or can he truly see the world this way?

I think tiger woods should be commended for the bar he sets for the sport of golf.......if we had this same attitude with players of all sports i think we would have alot less problems with our role models today. He shows what a calm and collected response can achieve and i think it reflects good things and sets a great example for young people that look to him for leadership unlike most of our athletes in society today.

I feel like people should treat racist comments as if the speaker were an immature child that was parented badly. Instead of reacting to treat the racist with pity.

Whether it's the product of a company or Tiger's decency on display I applaud Tiger for setting an excellent example.

I think Tiger Woods is the greatest athlete on earth! He does his job to the best of his ability. He helps children through his foundation. He keeps his personal life and opinions to himself. He knows when to turn the other cheek. Some athletes take advantage of the camera being on them and (over)react to some situations and comments. We will always live in a society where there are multiple ethnic groups, which will always lead to some form of hatred towards another group, we prefer to use the word "racism" because it usually involves people of the opposite race. We need to use the word "ignorant" instead. The more ethnic groups, the more hatred. Watch the movie, "crash" and you will probably hate most people also, but as the movie progresses, it has a very valuable meaning to it. Enjoy!!
