I read the "Topics, Please" post and so I'm responding by putting up one of my own.
The topic in question is "Place to Live", or "Is there any place in the world you'd like to live if possible?"
For me it would be several places, starting with Italy, Greece, and Japan. If possible, somewhere in the country that isn't too far away from a city.
In the case of Italy, I'd like to live in La Toscana, or Tuscany. Prefferably in Florence where you can go anywhere within walking distance, it seems.
In Greece it would have to be Athens, or someplace with breathtaking scenery.
Japan is pretty much the same as Greece except that I'd love to live somewhere like Old 'Kyo (short for Kyoto), Hokkaido, or Okinawa. THAT would be high heaven indeed! =3
So where would you like to live if you could live there? Let's hear it!
Other than that, which books would you like to see made into movies, but at the same time don't want to see them ruined when they ARE made into movies?

Last summer, I went on a 20 day backpacking trip through Europe. I have to say it was amazing! As far as places to live go, I would definately recommend Athens, Greece. The scenery is beautiful, but it's almost like you're in a third world country. The historic monuments are absolutely fantastic. The people are friendly and helpful. The city comes alive at midnight, so you'd do good there if you are a night owl.
Peacemaker,
Please change your name to something I can grade.
I need to see all or part of your name.
There are 3 classes posting, so I can't track nicknames.
I should add that I did like your question.
I visited Egypt, Spain, Malta, Seychelles, and throughout most of the mediterranean.Malta is a place I would like tovisist once again the people were very friendly and I had a lot fun. SOmewhere in the Med is where I would like to visit. My friend told me though about France and how they have free health care in their country, and it is good healthcare not same if you did not have helathcare in the US. So France would also be one my choices because the government actually pays for their stdents to attend college for free. How bout those apples?
Well I would to live in the Dominican Republi but I do need a lot of money to please myself over there. Im sorry I choose my own conutry but I do love my country but to live there you need a lot of money to be happy. It is a very expencive country and the worst part is that violence is really bad over there. This means that you need to live in a safe place and the only way to obtain that is by having a lot of money. I always say that I would live in the USA until i become rich. When this happens I think I would move back to my country.

I agree about the nightlife. At one time our guide took some of the group to a dance club. It was the first time I ever went to such an establishment; it was great!
